My team and I are already passionate about Service Design, so when we were nominated for the SDN Award 2023, we dreamed of something even bigger. To attend the conference in Berlin and see the results of the award with our own eyes. Instead of quietly buying a ticket and attending the conference, we decided to get involved in the loudest way possible. That is, by opening a crowdfunding campaign!

We launched a crowdfunding campaign, created social media channels, posted collaborative posts about service design, and shot a video to tell our story.

As a result, we received funding from the public to cover our food, accommodation, and travel expenses, including plane tickets and conference tickets from our school. The conference organizers even funded us!
